Why Palakneeti
आपण ज्या काळात असतो, जगतो, वाढतो त्या सामाजिक, राजकीय आणि सांस्कृतिक परीघात सजगपणे पालकत्व निभावणं हे सोपं काम नाही. घडोघडी मर्यादा जाणवतात, योग्यायोग्यतेचा निर्णय करणं अवघड होतं. मात्र हा कुणा एकाचा प्रश्न नाही, उघड्या डोळ्यांनी बघणार्‍या सर्वांना ह्या परिस्थितीची जाणीव होतच असते. ह्यासाठी ह्या काळात पालकत्व निभावणार्‍या सर्वांशी जोडून घ्यावे, म्हणजे प्रश्नांची समज विस्तारेल, उत्तरांच्या दिशा नजरेत येतील ही ‘पालकनीती’ या विचारधारेमागची कल्पना आहे.

What is Khelghar?
Much thought has gone into selecting the name ‘Khelghar’. ‘Khel’ which means ‘play’ in marathi, has a special, unparalleled significance in a child’s world. It is a medium through which children develop an understanding of the world around. Khelghar therefore gives prime importance to play. Home, (‘ghar’ in marathi) is another place children love. The love, support, nurturance and safety that home provides is essential for children. The name Khelghar has been selected by combining these two things children love the most.
