These are all volunteers working in Khelghar for the cause of ‘education for the deprived’.
Palakneeti Pariwar is a Non Profit Organisation registered in 1996.
Publishing the Palakneeti magazine was the main activity of the organisation at that time. At that time it was run by all the volunteers from different fields.
Khelghar is a project run in Lakshminagar slum of Kotharud , Pune since 1996. At present we are working with 200 children from age group 6 – 20. We run after school sessions for children to strengthen their learning capacities and life skills.
This project have achieved a great support of voluenteers since beginning. Volunteers shoulder all types of responsibilities right from shaping project proposals to actually teaching children from the community.
We meet once a month to learn and share about our work.
